Cabinet Refinishing

Cabinet Refinishing is the perfect option to bring old factory cabinets back to life with a fresh coat of paint! Old factory finish paint comes back to life with our quality coating systems! Everything starts with preparation. From the initial sanding and de-glossing of the current cabinetry, to custom primers tailored to each specific project, and carefully taking the cabinets apart and numbering each door to assure it goes back to the proper location. Each job may require a different product or application, and customize each job to assure the best finished product for our customers!

  • We carefully prepare each surface we are about to paint and depending upon the surface we use specific primers. Bonding primer to increases adhesion, and other primers may be a “blocker” to prevent staining or discoloration.
  • Once we have prepared and primed the surfaces, we apply two coats of a premium quality product, with a combination of brushing, rolling, or spraying. Depending on the size of the job, our team sprays the cabinets in our custom shop, or in place/at your home.
  • We can then install new hardware if the customer chooses.
Reviving Stained Cabinetry

You have stained cabinets, but they are scratched and worn-out. No problem! We’re also experts in the art of sanding and refinishing worn out stained wood to bring it back to life. Depending on the job, we can simply re-blend the stain as needed. Then, we apply two coats of a beautiful clear finish to add luster and life back to the cabinetry. In extreme situations we are capable of stripping everything down to bare wood and re-staining the cabinets. Another option in this situation is to slightly deepen, or darken your cabinetry to help blend any damage or imperfections, saving the expense of completely stripping the cabinetry to bare wood.

There are many different options to bring your cabinetry back to life, and to make them yours! Many times, in a brand-new house the previous owners loved the cabinetry, but the new owner does not have the same taste. So, rather than spend a small fortune on your cabinetry, we can come take a look with you! Once we understand what your expectations and desires are, it will be our pleasure to meet or exceed them! Since 1986, our team of craftsmen have taken great pride in all of our projects both large and small!
