Jeff Cohen is a respected member of his community on the South Shore and a successful business owner who values giving back. He is actively involved with various Chambers of Commerce, including the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, The Cape Cod Canal Chamber of Commerce, the Cranberry County Chamber of Commerce, and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Board of Directors in 2003 and welcomed new members as an Ambassador for several years. Jeff has served on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth and co-chaired their fundraising committee. Jeff's contributions earned him a place in the Mass Special Olympics Hall of Fame.
Since 2003, Jeff Cohen has been a member of the Plymouth Rotary Club, an organization devoted to raising funds for the community and supporting local non-profit groups. His unwavering commitment to the cause has led to him being recognized as a "Paul Harris Fellow," a testament to his dedication to both the club and the community it serves. One Stop Painting & Renovating received the Business of the Year award from the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. They were recognized for their high-quality painting services and ethical standards. The company has also received other awards, including "Plymouth Best Painter" from readers of the Old Colony Memorial newspaper and the "Best of the Best" award for local painting contractors from a national industry survey. These awards highlight One Stop Painting's commitment to providing outstanding painting services.

One Stop Painting & Renovating actively engages in charitable activities, prioritizing causes that align with the Rotarian principle of "service above self." Their contributions include:

• We are funding a local YMCA and Boys & Girls Club.

• We are supporting local veterans.

• We are collaborating with organizations dedicated to helping veterans.

They also support the United Way program, allowing employees to donate money from their paychecks. Their hard work has earned them multiple awards and citations from state and federal government officials.

Jeff established the JCC Foundation in 2014. The foundation is a non-profit organization aimed at helping community members in need. They hold events to raise funds and awareness for individuals facing challenging situations, such as losing a loved one or battling cancer. One of their most successful events is their annual Halloween fundraiser, which has been running for over 27 years. Jeff and his team participate actively in the Plymouth parades celebrating Independence Day and Thanksgiving yearly. 

Previously, the JCC Foundation hosted a Venetian-themed masquerade ball that drew over 300 attendees. The event was successful, with local businesses providing ice sculptures and food. The Coralee Burke-led event committee from "To the Max Events" and DJ Gene Dupuis worked hard to ensure the event was a hit. They partnered with local sponsors to create an unforgettable experience for attendees. The foundation also holds the "Cars for Cancer" car show, which displays about 200 cars and 30 vendors. The event raises funds to support community members undergoing chemotherapy. The JCC Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals who face complex challenges, and their events show their commitment to the community.
